Overview

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health EMENA is hiring a Technical Sales Manager Monogastrics for the UK and Ireland. 

As a Monogastric Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving budgeted sales and gross margin targets within the assigned territory in the United Kingdom. Working closely with the Area Manager and various departments, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging with prospective customers, delivering technical sales presentations, and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Prospective Customers: Be the driving force behind expanding our customer base by identifying and targeting potential clients in the UK. 
  • Strategic Planning: Take the lead in authoring and executing strategic plans for key customers. Showcase your ability to think strategically and align plans with organizational objectives. 
  • Engagement and Presentation: Connect with prospects and existing customers, establishing strong relationships. Design and deliver compelling technical sales presentations on Kemin products/services in line with our policies. 
  • Project Management: Demonstrate your project management skills by developing, executing, and documenting customer sales projects on Kemin's Sales Portal. 
  • Sales Growth and Customer Relationships: Close sales deals, implement startup programs, and ensure continued relationship building and growth with customers after the sale. 
  • Collaboration and Marketing: Collaborate with the Area Manager and colleagues in other departments to develop and implement a marketing plan for the territory. 
  • Industry Presence: Attend industry tradeshows, conferences, and events to stay informed about market trends and networking opportunities. 

Qualifications

Are you a passionate, curious, innovative salesperson with excellent understanding of the monogastric animals and do you recognize yourself in the points below : 

 

  • Educational Background: University degree in agriculture or equivalent through experience. 
  • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of biological sciences to deliver detailed technical and commercial presentations. 
  • Sales Project Management: Proven experience in successfully managing sales projects to completion. 
  • Motivation and Independence: Demonstrate a high degree of energy, personal motivation, and independence. Showcase your ability to work autonomously, remain resilient, and consistently deliver results. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with different layers in an organization, both internally and externally. Passionate about being customer and solution-oriented and consistent in your approach.
