In this onsite position, this individual will be a visible human resource presence that provides both compassion and professionalism as they perform a variety of functions.  Working within a manufacturing enviornment is critical to this position, bringing the expertise and skills best suited for supporting our operations team.  


The ideal candidate will have both a strategic and tactical approach to meeting the needs of the operations team.  This role is a visible presence with employees which allows for employees to ask questions and be available for Human Resource needs.  Responsible for providing services to a rapidly growing work force, they must make timely and effective decisions, balancing analysis with decisiveness. They will be the reference source regarding compliance with employment, benefits laws and HR regulations and will be called upon to handle personnel issues and complaints.

  • Provide leadership and model the creation of a work culture which values, promotes and supports inclusive attitudes, behaviors and systems respectful of all individuals allowing all team members of Kemin Industries to achieve maximum performance.
  • Assist with the development of policies and programs.
  • Administer HR services including development, workforce planning, discipline, termination, promotions, transfers, and relocations.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management. Responsible for handling personnel issues and complaints.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other business related with 5+ years of experience.
  • PHR or SPHR highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing organization is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain an extreme level of confidentiality is a must.
  • Ability to actively cooperate and interact with all entities of Kemin are essential.
  • Highly effective written communications and high attention-to-detail is a must.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands.
  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and possession of a distinct sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated integrity and honesty in all aspects.
