Overview

Kemin AquaScience is searching for a Sales Manager Southern Europe. The Sales Manager Southern Europe will be held repsonisble for all sales related activities in the area and report to the Commercial director.

Responsibilities

As Sales Manager Southern Europe you will be responsible for achieving the budgeted sales, margin, operating income. You will have a variety of responsibilities such as: 

  • Orchestrate the entire sales process with a customer: decide the timing of the process and strategically divide resources among various current and potential customers, leading to continued volume and profit growth in accounts;
  • Support the implementation of the product applications on site with the customer and tracking possible changes and further development with the accounts in future application of our products;
  • Initiate and realize new business relationships in various market segments;
  • Maintain and expand business with existing customers, whilst also increasing the sales and profitability for your assigned area;
  • Work closely with other KAQ Managers on product and market awareness, as well as competitor analysis;
  • Set the annual sales budget;
  • Attend at scientific events and trade shows;
  • Secure an optimal Customer Service by good communication with relevant departments;
  • Frequent Travel is required for this position

Qualifications

The "ideal" Sales Manager Southern Europe is  driven by sales, has experience in the animal nutrition business prefarably in fish food / feed industry and has the following qualifactions: 

  • Bachelor degree in aquaculture or relevant by experience 
  • +- 5 years working experience in the aqua culture / fish food industry 
  • experience in a B2B sales environment 
  • versatile and independant worker 
  • dynamic personality 
  • result-driven 
  • hands-on and eager to create sales and growth 
  • Strong  communication- skills and strong relationship builder 
  • Fluent in English any other language is seen as an advantage
  • Able to travel Frequently
