We're hiring! Kemin is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Des Moines campus. The Warehouse Supervisor will effectively coordinate and supervise all day to day functions of the warehouse. This will include coaching and training of the warehouse staff, making sure all orders are shipped on time and according to the customer requirements, tracking order statuses, managing the proper storage of raw materials and finished goods (bulk and packaged), ensuring the team is completing inventory transactions accurately (e.g., recording product), ensuring all warehouse equipment works safely and efficiently, coordinating and verifying trucking schedule and shipments, filling containers and tankers while recording all the necessary information, and maintaining an open and effective communication between departments.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supervising a team and warehouse responsibilities, and be able to follow instructions, specific procedures and protocols, and adhere to the required measures to ensure the highest quality of product and a safe work environment. This position is Monday-Friday, 2nd shift.
