Overview

Kemin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Missouri Campus.

Our Missouri Campus consists of operations in both Verona and Sarcoxie and was awarded 2025 "Leader of the Pack" for safety by Missouri Association of Manufacturers!

The primary location for this position is at our newest manufacturing facility in Verona, MO working 3rd shift Monday through Thursday.

 

The primary focus of the Maintenance Technician position is to support the production efforts of the plant through maintenance and repair of equipment to assure maximum available up time.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced maintenance including welding, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, etc. 
  • Preventative maintenance (PM’s) and repairs within established timelines. 
  • Provide input with Engineering team on various process improvement and the installation of equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and quickly correct problems.  
  • Fabrication and installation of new processes.
  • Machinery assembly and disassembly. 
  • Perform maintenance on Refrigeration (as applicable per business unit). 
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain Food Safety Standards.
  • Regular and reliable attendance. 
  • Availability to be on call. 
  • Other duties as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.  
  • Time management skills. 
  • Basic project management skills.  
  • Advanced Technical skills, including machine repair, piping, machine rigging, HVAC, etc. 
  • Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to read and markup blueprints. 
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals. 
  • Qualified with Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Hot-Work Procedures, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
