The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing key human resources functions across business units and/or manufacturing locations. This position encompasses more complex responsibilities related to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll and ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations
depending on the location/region. The HR Manager will lead the implementation of HR policies, provide guidance to managers, and offer expert advice on employee-related issues.
By ensuring the seamless execution of HR processes, this role contributes significantly to maintaining a productive and positive work environment. Additionally, the HR Manager
provides advanced HR support, addressing complex employee concerns and driving broader HR initiatives as needed. T

Responsibilities

Mediate employee disputes and conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

 

Execute the payroll and compensation processes.

 

Ensure and execute the recruitment process for Mexico and Central America.


Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures related to workplace behavior and performance. Conduct investigations into employee complaints, issues, of harassment, discrimination, or policy violations.

 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and Operations to align HR and Safety compliance initiatives with business goals.


Conduct regular audits of HR processes and employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 

Participate in daily HR operations to ensure efficient and accurate processing of employee data.

 

Assist and may coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Support the development and execution of workforce strategies, addressing current staffing needs and assisting in planning for future talent requirements.

 

Monitor workforce metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent initiatives, providing insights and suggestions to align with departmental objectives.


Collaborate with leadership to implement workforce plans, ensuring adaptability and supporting team growth and operational efficiency.

Oversee and execute the employee onboarding and orientation programs, continuously assessing their effectiveness and implementing improvements and recommendations.


Evaluate employee engagement data and spearhead or support teams in conducting state of the team discussions.

 

Ensure accountability and oversee the follow-up on engagement
initiatives and action plans.


Oversee and evaluate feedback from retention, stay, and exit interviews, and deliver comprehensive data analyses to the business. Provide recommendations and insights to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Analyze current workforce capabilities and predict future staffing needs based on business goals, to ensure the organization has the right talent in place.


Identify high potential employees and provide them with development opportunities to prepare for future leadership roles.

 

Support managers with identifying skill gaps, and implementing
training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth (under L&D).


Monitoring workforce metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning strategies and make necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Intermediate experience with HR software and computer skills, with a strong emphasis on utilizing system data to derive business insights.


Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring processes are in place to maintain precise employee records and documentation. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic,fast-paced environment.


Strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions.


Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with employees and senior management.

 

Fluent in English. Portuguese desired.


Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations diplomatically.


Demonstrated understanding of how HR initiatives impact the business and the ability to partner with leadership to drive value.


In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations and experience ensuring HR practices meet compliance standards. Possession of Advanced HR Certification(s).


Maintaining confidentiality regarding employee information and company information.
