Kemin is seeking full-time Production Operators for our Missouri campus!

Current openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday. 

Our Missouri campus consists of operations in both Verona and Sarcoxie and was

Awarded 2025 "Leader of the Pack" for safety by Missouri Association of Manufacturers!

The primary location for this position is in Verona, Missouri

Responsibilities

    • Assemble and process raw materials for production. 
    • Package and label finished products. 
    • Assist in preparation for shipping, as applicable. 
    • Operate and monitor equipment, following established written operations and safety procedures.  
    • Accurately enter data into computer system. 
    • Maintain area and equipment, perform routine cleaning and sanitation, and notify maintenance of equipment issues. 
    • Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
    • Visually inspect raw material for obvious damage or defect.   
    • Assure order meets receiving order documentation.   
    • Follow all GMP required procedures and practices. 
    • Follow Master Sanitation schedule.  
    • Assist Supervisor with on the job training and provide feedback. 
    • Provide proactive recommendations for equipment maintenance and process improvements. 
    • Follow and maintain an environment of food safety in compliance with rules and regulations, as applicable. 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma, or equivalent is required.
  • Related experience in production is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed. 
  • Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures, solve basic problems, utilize cognitive reasoning and ability to use formulas to calculate proper mixtures.
  • Must be reliable and have good attendance.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and climb stairs.
  • Ability to push, pull and lift 55 lbs.
  • Ability to key/enter data into computer system.
  • Good math skills and ability to accurately measure/weigh.
  • Time management and prioritization skills are needed.
