Position Overview :

 

    • Responsible for reducing the downtime of equipment and increasing the availability of equipment for production, training and guiding the shift technicians, optimizing specific power and fuel consumption, optimizing engineering spares inventory & control repair and maintenance costs, and initiating continuous Improvement projects.
    • Work Environment: Business Office & Factory Plant; shop floor.
    • Occasionally requires to Travel to local governmental bodies and vendor places.
      

 

 

Responsibilities

 

      • Effectively handle any maintenance issues in each shift and take up small Kaizen projects, guide and train his team to improve their knowledge and skills, plan and manage effective maintenance works

      • Routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
      • Conduct in-depth electrical assessment for maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation, which covers preventative and breakdown maintenance for utilities, process and packaging equipment.
      • Working in collaboration with production and warehouse team to formulate the best electrical maintenance practices.
      • Perform energy audits and recommend alternative sources of energy to reduce energy costs.
      • Develop a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
      • Provide a safe working environment for all the employees, and ensure electricity-induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
      • Responsible to provide training to the team members on safe handling of calibrated Equipment.
      • Motivate the engineering technicians for implementing 5S activities.
      • Conduct Risk Assessment for all the electrical critical equipment.
      • Ensure all machinery is erected, commissioned, and validated as per the procedure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering above 7 - 10 years of experience in the maintenance field.
  • Must hold electrical “C” License
