Overview

We're hiring! The Service Technician – Biocide, is a member of the Biocide Animal Health team. The Biocide team provides solutions to customers for treating drinking water and disinfection of livestock and poultry facilities. This person will install and service Biocide Animal Health application systems to required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Install various application equipment at customer locations.
  • Train customers on operation of application systems and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing application systems at customer locations.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on customer application systems.
  • Foster a positive team environment and assist coworkers as required.
  • Develop relationships with customers.

  • Be able to express the benefits of Biocide AH products to customers.

  • Ability to assemble and install application equipment at customer sites across North America.

  • Participate in attending local exhibitions, seminars, training and workshops.

  • Assistance in development of new applications systems.

  • Provide day to day support to customers, sales team and KAS engineers.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in areas of water treatment, plumbing, electrical, or trades. 
  • Capability to learn and understand plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently or in a structured team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Quality minded.
  • Travel 75%.
