With a results-driven mindset, you will manage strategic accounts, lead distributor relationships, and apply technical solution selling to shape differentiated offerings. Your ability to network with key decision-makers and understand customers’ unique buying cycles will be crucial to driving success.

Responsibilities

Driving Business Growth

  • Conduct in-depth plant trials to effectively demonstrate the quantifiable benefits of Kemin solutions, addressing specific customer pain points and achieving successful implementation.
  • Develop and execute targeted customer engagement strategies, including needs assessments, solution presentations, and technical consultations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical barriers that may hinder customer adoption of Kemin solutions, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting support.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Personally, sales drive growth by establishing businesses with strategic accounts and expanding into new accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Implement pricing strategies that support 100% customer retention, double-digit year-over-year sales growth and gross margin protection
  • Maintain a 40% project hit rate through effective pipeline management and customer engagement.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring a multi contact model and able to identify all key decision makers at a fast past.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and champion initiatives to exceed customer expectations, securing long-term loyalty.
  • Promote customer-centric strategies to retain existing clients and expand wallet share.

Distributor Management & Development

  • Identify, onboard, and manage new distributor networks to grow the business.
  • Align distributor performance with business objectives through regular reviews, training, and performance tracking.
  • Strengthen indirect sales channels to support long-term growth.

 

In collaboration with the Leadership team, provide strategic directions for Kemin Food Technologies Asia to achieve the business unit leading and lagging indicators. Additional responsibilities may be discussed based on specific business needs and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Ideally a degree in Food Science/Biochemistry/Microbiology or other related discipline, from a recognized university
  • Strong technical knowledge of food ingredients/processing with 7 years’ work experience in bakery & confectionery and/or sauces & seasoning segments

Decision Making & Freedom to Act: This position reports to the Sales Director, Kemin Food Technologies APAC. It is a “hands-on” position with significant autonomy, breadth, and flexibility to exceed expectations.

 

Working Conditions: The position will operate ideally from a Kemin office and is expected to spend ~50% travelling on customer meetings and plant trials. The position is considered 40 hours per week and requires tremendous flexibility as a customer-facing role.
