Field Service Engineer

KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH – EMENA is seeking a Field Service Engineer DACH.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a key member of the EMENA Kemin Application Solutions (KAS) team, located in Germany. The KAS team is dedicated to delivering high-quality product application systems and services to Kemin’s customers across the region.

In this role, you will primarily support customers in Germany and neighboring countries, ensuring optimal performance of our systems. You will report directly to the Sr Service & Support Manager.

As Field Service Engineer you will have a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain good contact with our customers in the designated area and act as a primary technical point of contact.
• Minimizing the applicator downtime, by maximizing the customer support.
• Perform installations, commissioning, calibration and maintenance of new and existing applications systems.
• Take initiative to keep our customers systems up to date.
• Follow up on application projects.
• Perform and conduct trials with our sales team.
• Identify new market requirements and translate them to solutions.
• Perform detailed factory surveys and translate application requirements into technical solutions.
• Quality control during maintenance and installations, report QC issues.
• Active participating in development of new dosing systems.
• Provide training for the operators of our systems.

What we expect of you:

• Experience in a technical industrial environment.
• Understanding of SIEMENS PLC and SCADA.
• Ability to successfully install, service and maintain all offline/online application systems.
• Strong affinity for industrial automation.
• Fluent German and good understanding of English.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone position.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Frequent travelling in the designated area.
• Experience within liquid dosing systems or Feed mill process technology is a plus.
