The Regional Sales Manager  is a commercial leadership role. You will hold end‑to‑end accountability for regional sales and gross margin across Eastern Europe. The role spans strategy setting, forecasting, resource allocation, and performance coaching for country and area sales managers, with selective oversight of cross‑border strategic accounts where direct executive sponsorship can accelerate outcomes. 

 

Location & travel

  • Remote within Eastern Europe (Poland - Hungary or Czechia)
  • Region includes Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, and Ukraine
  • Approx. 50% travel across the region

Responsibilities

  • Own regional commercial performance across all relevant product lines, ensuring achievement of sales and gross margin targets
  • Develop and execute regional strategy, including forecasting and resource allocation to protect contribution margin
  • Maintain regular, evidence‑based communication with leadership on project status, sales trajectory, and strategic direction
  • Oversee national or multi‑territory strategic accounts, defining account architecture and leading interventions to unlock growth
  • Coach and mentor country and area sales managers, providing guidance and removing operational barriers to execution
  • Monitor competitive behaviors and market trends, curating insights and reporting them to senior stakeholders for informed decision‑making

Qualifications

  • Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Additional commercial qualifications are a strong advantage
  • 15+ years of experience in the Animal Health and Nutrition industry, with a significant portion in sales leadership roles
  • Proven ability to apply Kemin sales process techniques, support multi-level customer engagement, and introduce new products
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and analytical skills for solving customer challenges and recommending solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and electronic, with the ability to present ideas effectively to all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated leadership capability to motivate, coach, and build an engaged team with a passion for results
  • Experience in building go-to-market strategies and removing barriers to execution
  • Skilled in coaching and driving accountability within sales teams
  • High degree of personal motivation, urgency, and ability to make an immediate impact
