Overview

Location: New Delhi

 

Driven by Kemin’s spirit of "Compelled by Curiosity," the Territory Sales Executive supports channel partnerships and commodity sales, contributing to market expansion and customer success. This entry-level role focuses on building relationships, executing sales strategies, supporting channel partners, and learning industry dynamics through structured performance tracking, training, and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Sales Support & Revenue Contribution:

  • Assist in achieving a >40% project hit rate, ensuring customer projects successfully convert into sales.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities and engaging customers within assigned accounts.
  • Help manage sales budgets and expenses efficiently to support profitability.
  • Learn and apply sales processes, disciplines, and best practices to enhance sales execution.
  • Utilize sales technology to track sales activities and gather customer insights.
  • Contribute to customer/channel partner retention efforts while identifying new business opportunities.

Channel Partner Engagement & Expansion:

  • Support channel partners through performance monitoring and structured scorecard tracking.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new channel partners, ensuring alignment with Kemin’s goals.
  • Work closely with senior team members to expand the customer base and drive market penetration.
  • Help coordinate customer engagement activities, trade shows, and industry events.

Commodity Sales & Market Insights:

  • Develop an understanding of commodity sales strategies, pricing models, and market trends.
  • Assist in gathering market intelligence, monitoring commodity dynamics, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with business objectives.

 

Competitive Analysis & Learning Initiatives:

  • Collect and report competitor insights, including pricing, technical specifications, and market positioning.
  • Stay updated on food industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Continuously develop expertise in B2B sales, commodity solutions, and technical applications through training.

 

In collaboration with the Leadership team, provide strategic directions for Kemin Food Technologies Asia to achieve the business unit leading and lagging indicators. Additional responsibilities may be discussed based on specific business needs and priorities

Qualifications

B.Tech Food Technology/ B.Sc or M.Sc Food Science with 1-3 years of experience in sales.
