Senior KAS Engineer

The Senior KAS Application Engineer is a member of the Kemin Application Service team. The KAS team is responsible for product application systems and services that Kemin offers to its customers.

This person will develop, analyze, implement, monitor and maintain automated dosing processes to required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability and quality.

• Build and install various application equipment.
• Integrate application technology into customer processing systems.
• Responsible for all aspects of equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing application systems at customer locations.
• Foster a positive team environment and assist coworkers as required
• Knowledgeable of the features, benefits and use of Kemin products.
• Helping the customer understand Kemin products and implementation strategies.

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment
• Capability to learn and understand electrical and communication systems
• Familiarity or understanding of PLC’s and automation systems
• Ability to work independently or in a structured team
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
