Overview

The Junior Controller will be responsable to compute and prepare data for journal entries, review general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness/accuracy. Support in preparing financial reports and in monthly closing procedures for some for some Kemin Business Units. General control and monitoring over the financial business impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Enter accurate journal entries on a timely basis in the local ERP
  • Support in month end closing procedures and year-end financial statement preparation
  • Management of financial reporting for the headquarter including the WW financial systems
  • Timely and accurate reconciliations of assigned accounts.
  • Timely & accurate posting of payable/receivable transactions.
  • Follow and document process and procedures with the aim of improving it.
  • Work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions.
  • Provide analysis of business transactions, this includes but is not limited to; customer accounts, AP & AR aging, cash flow, OPEX, manufacturing costs, and business scorecard.
  • Actively involvement in controlling activities such as: costing, overhead calculation, profitability by products and customers, inventory management and ad-hoc business analysis
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting preparation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience
  • Strong knowledge of excel and Microsoft office programs more in general
  • Accounting principles knowledge
  • Team player and able to work independently with focus on meeting deadlines
  • Good communication skills in Italian and English
  • Well organized and accurate
  • Flexible in adjusting to organizational needs
  • Proactive and problem solver
