Overview

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health EMENA is hiring a Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer at the Kemin Application Solutions team (KAS), you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, testing and optimizing tailor-made dosing units that drive innovation in Animal Nutrition and Health.

Responsibilities

As Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)  Engineer you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our machines meet the highest standards but also exceed our clients’ expectations in terms of performance, reliability and functionality. As an E&I Engineer, you will contribute to the successful development, assembling and testing of our dosing units at our head quarter.  

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Collaborating with team members to design electrical systems for dosing machines. 
  • Integrating sensors, actuators, and control devices into machine control systems for precise monitoring and control. 
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting electrical circuits to efficiently identify and resolve issues. 
  • Conducting thorough testing and validation of machine electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance targets.  
  • Participating in design reviews to contribute expertise on electrical and instrumentation aspects. 
  • Creating technical documentation, including schematics, P&ID’s, user manuals, and maintenance guides. 
  • Collaborating with team and clients to understand installation requirements. 
  • Staying updated with electrical and instrumentation engineering advancements to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Innovating on mechanical design and performing risk assessments. 
  • Receiving and approving goods, materials, etc. 
  • Conducting quality control on goods and materials and reporting QC issues. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electromechanics  
  • Strong knowledge with circuit design software (SEE Electrical advanced) 
  • Experience with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. 
  • Solution Oriented  
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Must be fluent in English
