Overview

The Technical Service Manager is responsible for supporting and growing the vaccine business at Kemin Biologics.

The candidate must want to work in an international environment and will be responsible for Kemin’s vaccine portfolio in the determined region, in close collaboration with the respective Product Manager.

 

Location: This position is based in Moscow, Russia and is required to travel in the region incl. CIS.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge solutions in terms of wide technical support (for vaccine products) between our Sales Force in Russia&CIS and customers;
  • Provide technical training and support to the sales employees and distributors;
  • Provide direct technical support to our customers, distributors and support critical field projects lead by the sales employees;
  • Participate in and attend local exhibitions, seminars, training and workshops;
  • Manage, qualify and provide technical input regarding requests for lab services and applied research projects. Follow up and evaluation of the added value initiated support and services;
  • Inform Product Managers on technical issues and competitive info picked up;
  • Be involved in preparation and execution of the marketing strategic plan;
  • Communicate and exchange experience with counterparts;
  • Sharing success stories and best practices, and generating new technical insights;
  • Resources allocation for strategic products and markets;
  • Extrapolate and adapt knowledge but also experience.

Qualifications

  • MS in a life science with 3 years of experience, in Veterinary/Animal Health or related business
  • University degree in biology, biological chemistry, veterinary medicine, agricultural science, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, or biochemistry. All life science degrees will be considered.
  • Scientific curiosity and innovation
  • Detail oriented, organized, prioritization skills, and motivated by accomplishment
  • Good written and oral communication skills, suitable for presentations
  • Handle multiple projects efficiently
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Fluent in English and Russian (speaking and writing). 
  • Fluent in use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, online meeting platforms, principles of CRM software.
