HSE Coordinator

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health is searching a HSE Coordinator for the plant located in Herentals,Belgium.

The HSE Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering training to ensure compliance with safety and environmental programs. You will work closely with various departments to minimize risk and enhance safety and environmental standards.

• Conduct safety orientation for new hires, temporary employees, and contractors.
• Develop and implement safety and environmental training programs.
• Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective action plans.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Collect and analyze data to identify accident trends and improve safety measures.
• Maintain records and update environmental permits.
• Support business unit safety committees and work groups.
• Promote activities to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

• A Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health or 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment.
• Level II or Environmental level A/B 
• Familiarity with ISO45001, ISO14001, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to successfully apply safety and/or environmental skills to help solve production issues, recommend process improvements, and participate in job hazard analyses and worker safety program development.
