The Finance & Administration Senior Accountant’s overall responsibility is to handle the full-set of financial accounts and taxation matters while also performing administrative duties for the company.

 

This high-visibility role is ideal for a proactive and dynamic professional aspiring to serve as a strategic business partner, supporting Kemin’s accelerating growth in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  1. Handle full set of accounts and responsible for Statutory Reporting, Accounting and Taxation matters
  2. Maintain accurate accounting records and generate monthly financial reports.
  3. Collaborate with the Singapore finance team on financial closing, intercompany, and tax-related matters.
  4. Perform Bank, Inventory and balance sheet reconciliation
  5. Handle cash flow management and petty cash disbursements.
  6. Process staff expense claims and payments of vendor invoices on timely basis
  7. Manage the accounts receivable function.
  8. Liaise with banks, external auditors and tax consultants
  9. Coordinate & support all statutory & tax audit matters
  10. Proactively manage the office administration tasks, including office/equipment leasing, fee negotiation, and other adhoc duties as assigned by management
  11. Process Staff Payrolls and coordinate with the Singapore HR team on HR administrative tasks.
  12. Manage statutory compliance matters, including the renewal of company licenses and insurance policies.
  13. Provide support to Kemin Indonesia's country management on statutory and ad hoc duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably with tax accreditation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and office administration, with hands-on knowledge of Indonesian taxation laws and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. The ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously is a key attribute.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with the Singapore office.
