Overview

As Ruminants Sales Manager you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing customers, driving sales growth, and supporting the successful launch of our products and services within the UK and Ireland. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while meeting your sales targets

Responsibilities

As Ruminants Sales Manager, you would have a wide range of responsibilities, such as: 

  • Support the development of Kemin's commercial activities and feed business in the region. 
  • Develop and manage sales projects, supporting both existing and new opportunities. 
  • Stay informed on market trends, animal nutrition, and health to provide valuable insights. 
  • Explore new applications for existing products and introduce new products with a technical focus. 
  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager and other teams to define product marketing and technical strategies. 
  • Plan and assist in technical product development, including conducting tests and following up on results. 
  • Contribute to regional advertising, promotional activities, and event coordination (e.g., trade shows, seminars). 
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant insights. 
  • Oversee customer file management and ensure accurate tracking of sales activities. 

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in Life Sciences (Bio Engineering or Animal Science) or equivalent by one’s experience; 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with commercial activities; 
  • Good communication and social skills; 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Discretion; 
  • Sense of responsibility.
