Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate calculation, processing, and reconciliation of bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls. In addition to bonus & commission payrolls.
  • Review deductions including benefits and garnishments; perform audits verifying reported payroll hours; reconcile and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records comply with company policy and coordinate with managers to make corrections as needed.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records. Identify and resolve issues and coordinate resolution with Human Resources.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to streamline payroll administration and enhance usage of HR technologies.
  • Train managers and employees on timekeeping system and payroll processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates (new hires, terminations, job title changes, pay rate changes).
  • Configure UKG applications to ensure best practices and policy compliance. Work with business areas to identify needed rules and configurations.
  • Complete testing and validation to ensure successful implementation.
  • Assesses new modules, upgrades, and changes for potential implementation.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and general Human Resources support.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 2+ years experience
  • Experience must include full process payroll, preferably with multi-state processing
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and extreme discretion
  • Self starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Fluent in English
