Overview

The hybrid role of Marketing Communications and Market Analyst is designed to leverage analytical skills and marketing expertise to drive strategic marketing initiatives and enhance customer engagement. This position requires a strong collaborator with excellent project management skills to work alongside various teams, including Marketing, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Operations, and R&D. The incumbent will analyze, visualize, and automate data, while also planning and executing effective marketing campaigns to support the company's brand strategy across the Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis on the value chain and customer journey of strategic key accounts.
  • Benchmarking, business analysis, and customer segmentation to identify and assess product-fit opportunities.
  • Extensive research and trend analysis relevant to customer businesses to drive insights-driven selling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans focused on uncovering new business prospects.
  • Monitor competitor products, market share, and sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain databases, and work with the IT team to create a robust data analytics platform.
  • Deliver timely and precise findings to enable data-driven decisions, supporting strategic planning.
  • Plan and execute strategic market digitalization initiatives, such as new key dashboards for market research and competition intelligence.
  • Develop and implement effective above-the-line, below-the-line, and digital marketing and media strategies as part of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Drive branding and establish a social media presence, including the website and across all digital channels.
  • Actively involved in planning, coordination, and execution of activities, events, and trade shows.
  • Liaise and manage external suppliers and vendors for artwork, merchandise, and event-related logistics.
  • Content management such as product stories, case studies, copywriting, design, videos, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives and contribute to proactive marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in researching and analyzing business intelligence data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Proficient in SPSS or other statistical software.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in corporate market research and data analytics.
  • Proven background in planning, designing, managing, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research studies.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Excellent copywriting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team as well as cross departments in different cultures and an international environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and possess a distinct sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated integrity and honesty in all aspects, and can maintain confidentiality and protect intellectual property.
