Overview

Are you passionate about creating impactful internal communications and enhancing employee engagement? We are looking for a talented Worldwide HR Communication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing internal communication strategies that support HR initiatives across our global locations. You will collaborate with HR leaders, the corporate Marketing team, and employees to ensure consistent, clear, and effective communication aligned with our company’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years experience in communications and/or employee engagement within a global organization and possess the ability to work successfully across cultures.

 

This position is located at our worldwide headquarters in Des Moines, IA or remotely anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leaders to develop communication strategies across the employee life cycle, including employer branding, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development & training, succession, and performance management.
  • Work across multiple media platforms to design engaging communication materials including audio, video, print, and digital.
  • Design and implement an internal HR branding strategy.
  • Partner with corporate Marketing and Talent Acquisition to promote Kemin as Employer of Choice.
  • Design and write content for social media sites, as part of Kemin's employer branding strategy.
  • Manage multiple communication campaigns at once, developing, maintaining and implementing each one according to well established timelines.
  • Propose and implement the communication content and planning in support of employee recognition, engagement surveys, and corporate culture initiatives.
  • Advise HR leadership on communication strategies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in communications and/or employee engagement within a global organization; high potential candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for a comparable role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, intranet, or collaboration tools such as MS Teams or Slack).
  • Ability to work across cultures, with strong intercultural communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with design and video editing tools is a plus.
