Overview

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health is searching a Center of Excellence Automation Coordinator for the KAS (Kemin Applications Solutions) DepartmentAs Center Of Excellence Automation Coordinator you are responsible for coordinating and aligning the development, testing, and deployment of our innovative KAS solutions across different regions and Business Units.

Responsibilities

As the center of Excellence Automation Coordinator you will work closely with various global teams (KAS-managers, IT&OT engineers, Marketing …) to ensure that our automation products meet the highest standards in terms of performance, usability, safety, and cybersecurity. You will support the harmonization activities, give training, and share best practices on a global level.  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement a global harmonization strategy and framework for automation products. 
  • Coordinate with regional and local teams to identify and prioritize product harmonization opportunities. 
  • Promote the benefits and value of global harmonization to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Design, develop, maintain, and roll out a global automation software library for existing and new products. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for product quality, safety, cybersecurity, and performance. 
  • Train cross-functional and cross-regional project teams to deliver harmonized products within time and budget. 
  • Provide global automation support, especially during the rollout of new products. 
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for harmonization initiatives. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of harmonized products and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Establish and maintain best practices, manuals, SOPs, and guidelines for global harmonization processes and procedures. 
  • Report on the progress and outcomes of global harmonization initiatives. 
  • Identify and resolve any issues or risks that may arise during the global harmonization process 

 

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual, with experience in Feed mill process technology  
  • Bachelor's degree in technical industrial engineering 
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills  
  • Ability to communicate and present to all layers in an organisation  
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Solid understanding of PLC programming, field bus systems, and software development 
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform system tests  
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional and multicultural teams 
  • Willing to travel globally to support harmonization activities, taking different time zones in mind.  
  • Passionate about industrial automation 
  • Strong affinity for mechanical and electrical schemes
