Overview

 

Location: Chennai 

 

Position Objective: 

Manage the product lifecycle for food ingredient products while integrating business analysis, strategic marketing and digital marketing effort. This role will drive product strategies, develop go-to-market plans, and manage digital marketing initiatives to fuel business growth and achieve regional goals.

 

 

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Portfolio Management and Development:
    • Oversee existing product portfolios, evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop go-to-market strategies for successful product launches and market penetration.
    • Collaborate to strategize and execute product lifecycle management.
  2. Innovation & Expansion:
    • Work on innovative solutions and strategically expand product offerings.
    • Conduct market analysis to support market penetration strategies.
  3. Business Analytics & Data Management:
    • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
    • Analyze process and data to identify improvement.
    • Oversee data management activities and CRM databases activities.
  4. Marketing & Communication:
    • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns, including digital channels.
    • Conduct market research to understand trends, target segments, and competitive landscape. Using gained insight to develop product and marketing strategies.
    • Develop a consistent corporate image and manage external communications.
  5. Project Management:
    • Lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
    • Train/support sales team on product features and positioning.
  6. Regional Strategy and Financial Performance:
    • Drive & optimize regional business strategy and financial performance.
    • Support 5-year business planning and execution.
  7. Pricing and Supply Chain Management:
    • Develop and monitor regional pricing strategies.
    • Contribute and optimize quality management, supply chain optimization, cost control and toller development.
  8. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Food Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in portfolio/product management, business analysis and/or strategic marketing, Experience in B2B Digital Marketing and Food Ingredient space is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • CRM experience is a plus.
