Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing communication actions to build regional presence & an emotional connection with our customers. The whole pallet of marketing & communication tools will be utilized to reach this goal
  • Responsible for managing and executing projects, including budgets and strategies, developing and maintaining timelines, media and editorial activities.
  • Responsible for researching, identifying, recommending, in addition to implementing new marketing-related actions and strategies which drive future initiatives.
  • Responsible for tradeshow and event management in the region
  • Ensure alignment exists and collaboration occurs with PMs and Strategic Marketing regional sales when developing growth plans for individual products, customer segmentation and overall prioritization of focus
  • Drive regional public relations efforts including copywriting, proofreading, creative, promotional materials, and assisting with outreach activities.
  • Develop compelling content in collaboration with the respective Product Manager & other functions.
  •  In conjunction with Digital specialist development of a regional content strategy for customer communication and targeting
  • Propose & agree with Product Managers and Global Marketing and execute the media plan
  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of social communications
  • Maintain partnerships and collaborate with media partners and trade associations  actions
  • Support in the  press release and press relations
  • Implement and manage new software tools for data presentation by the sales

Qualifications

  • Marketing or Technical education with 5 years experience in the industry.
  • Advanced PC knowledge with MS Office and/or Graphics software desired.
  • CRM experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
  • A reliable, flexible, self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to maintain a professional demeanour while working under pressure as there is a high level of accountability for one’s work.
  • High attention to detail, high accuracy, and some analytical abilities.
  • The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with customers, vendors, peers and all levels of management. Demonstrated achievement of meeting marketing objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Must have a marketing mentality combined with marketing training and experience as it relates to marketing products in the industry, with the ability to gather key information and translate into an exceptional promotional piece.
  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and possession of a distinct sense of urgency.
  • Ability to maintain effective strategic relationships with key partners including external agencies, freelancers, and technology companies. The role is responsible for building relationships with major trade publication editors in the region to position Kemin as an advisor and content source for technical and industry issues.
