Senior Accountant

Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health is hiring a dynamic and skilled Senior Accountant for our location in Istanbul Turkey. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for computing and managing data for journal entries, reviewing general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness/accuracy, and accumulating and analyzing information for the preparation and declaration of financial statements, ledgers, reports, and taxes.

As Senior Accountant you will be  responsible for: 

• Accurate journal entries and month-end close procedures.
• Manage payable/receivable transactions.
• Tax-, e-ledger, VAT-, Social Security declarations to the authorities.
• Standard cost calculation and control.
• Reporting and audit support.
• Oversee cash payment processes.
• Ensure payroll accuracy.

• Higher education in Accountancy or Finance related degree with 4-6 years of experience 
• CPA certificate is a plus
• Team player with excellent communication skills in English and Turkish 
• Proficiency in PC literature  especially Excel and ERP systems 
• Well-organized - accurate and flexible
• Independent - dynamic worker
